As the Principal of Arya Gurukul, Nandivali, Kalyan, East, I would like to write few words to express my experience about the school.
As a teacher and Headmistress of the same management schools in the past, I experienced that Arya Gurukul students excel not only in academics but also in sports, leadership and organizing activities.
Being a Chinmaya Vision School, I highly appreciate and identify the school’s effort and commitment to provide holistic education to students enriching their personalities and lives. The scholastics and co-scholastics way of teaching language, mathematics, science, humanity, art and physical development and Masti Ki Pathshala have developed students’ multiple intelligence and aptitude for life-long learning. The school offers countless opportunities for students to take part in all sorts of co-curricular activities and community services to broaden their exposure and insight.
As a principal of Arya Gurukul Nandivali, Kalyan East, I would like to sincerely thank the entire staff for their professionalism and commitment in laying a solid foundation to the school. I thank the parents for their support to the school and thank students for their diligent work and engagement in the school.
Being a principal I have a strong belief that, teaching and learning are the core activities of the school. Hence, I want to be in the classrooms more and have beneficial conversations with teachers about curriculum and instructions and interact with each student. The work of the school happens in the classrooms. If I want to influence my students and my school, then that’s where I need to be.
Harmony can be interpreted as “TEAM WORK”. As long as we have a dedicated team aiming for the common goals, anything can be achieved. I always support teachers for their overall development and teaching. Great teachers are the most important human pillars to the success of our academy.
As I mentioned before, teaching and learning are the core activities of the school, we should make good use of every minute of invaluable instruction time on enhancing students’ learning. I always set students’ benefit to be the first priority.
Together, we shall focus on promoting a high level of learning culture. Resources will be allocated to furnishing an inviting place and environment for learning. School policies will be refined to streamline the academic and co-curricular activities. You may expect changes in the future which I believe to be the sources of momentum and motivation.
As we reflect on the many things for which we are thankful, I want to take this opportunity to share just a few of them with you:
We are thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn, they give us all a daily reminder of what is important and why we are here.
We are thankful for the teachers, assistants, health aids, bus drivers, office staff, canteen staff, support staff and administrators who really are about student achievement and have the best interest of our students at heart.
During the challenging times, we see dedicated and tireless individuals going above and beyond to make sure that great things happen in our school. They do make a difference, and the children, in their own individual ways, benefit from those efforts.
Most importantly, we are thankful for the support of the parents in creating an outstanding partnership for our students. They continue to share their most valuable possession with us and in most cases work hard and advocate to be a partner in their children’s education, safety and well-being.
We are also thankful to our PTA members and parent volunteers who enthusiastically contribute so much to our school.

I take this opportunity to welcome you all for this unique virtual annual day celebration. As the theme goes Breakdown, Breakthrough & Break free. This means agility and the need to keep on your toes and be a life-long learner. This is the theme of Arya Gurukul Annual Day this year.
Life is indeed a roller coaster ride, and it is very common that we face ups and downs as we encounter different situations. There are times when we succeed in our attempts and in certain other occasions we do not. Some days end up miserably and some other days turn out to be happy. Some succeed in handling any situation. Some feel even the smallest situation very challenging. How to handle any situation? There are of course many ways. One can blame others. It is very easy to blame others. During this academic year 2020-21, I experienced and received 500 plus emails and messages and personally met the parents. Each email reflected the challenges faced at home or with family members or our own inability to perceive the situation and find solutions. The first impact of all this was faced by the Principal and the teachers. Arya Gurukul decided not to bend, instead stay there, and face the situation. This helped all the stakeholders to settle down and succeed.
The second way of handling a situation is and here I would like to mention about.
Bhagvan Shri Krishna who brings this idea beautifully in chapter 2 of Bhagavad Gita (Gita 2.14 ). The biggest challenge we face is, our inability to handle these periodic swings of ups and downs. So, it’s time that all of us, master the self and emerge victorious. When I say self, yes dear parent the time has come to make our children independent. I want each parent to take this concept of SELF with extreme seriousness. We must make our children work towards SELF AWARENESS, SELF CARE, SELF CONTOL, SELF CONCIOUSNESS, SELF ESTEEM, SELF RESPECT, SELF INTEREST, SELF CONCEPT, SELF MOVTIVATION, SELF STUDY, SELF DEFENCE, SELF IDENTITY, SELF INTROSPECTION AND SELF LESSNESS.
Under Chinmaya Vision Program, in this academic year 21-22 Arya, Gurukul is coming up with a self-management program for all the grades. Parent’s, I urge you to cooperate and encourage this. Dear parents, in pursuit of acceptance of the dual nature of our world, we must remind students that strength and gentleness/ fearlessness and compassion must coexist. This is one of the core values of CVP.
We wish to see our students learn the art of channelizing their fears and developing their inner selves. At the same time, they will become more compassionate, which provides them with a new dimension to channelize their energy. This dual state of fearlessness and compassion is described in chapter 12 of Bhagavad Gita. Therefore, such an individual neither fears about the world nor is fearful for the world. This is the need of the hour.
The four pillars of Chinmaya Vision Program – Integrated development, Indian culture, Patriotism and Universal Outlook reminds us that all pillars are equally important.
The academic year 20-21 taught us to put all the pillars together. Hence, I dedicate this Annual Day to all the Pillars of CVP.
In this REMOTE schooling scenario parents and students cannot ignore the Physical Education classes, Value Education classes, Visual Art, and Performing Art classes. We should give equal importance to these Co-scholastic classes along with academics. We must look at the bigger picture that emerges from this.
Dear parents, schools will open again no matter how difficult our environments make it, because education is also a safety net, we create to protect us and our children from the unknown future. Also note, education will not be the same again. Moving forward we will be looking at the hybrid form of education and physical and virtual school will become synonymous to all learners. Under National Education Policy 2020 the government is setting up NETF (National Education Technology Forum) as a collective step towards our shared future.
All the students of Grade 6 to 8 are already registered for the
CBSE initiated program in Artificial Intelligence. School is also introducing 4 new Skills based Vocational Subjects for Grade 6 to 8. Information technology, Financial Literacy, Artificial Intelligence, and very special Subject DESIGN. Many more plans are in the pipeline and will be announced as and when finalized.
This is to inform you that to make this first ever Virtual Annual day successful I first give the credit to my dear parents, who decided to take up the challenge and self-managed. A Big round of applause to 800 dear mothers, fathers and other family members. In today’s virtual annual day 400 students are participating. Thank you, children, for keeping the energy high. Thank you, my teachers who worked in very adverse situations, facing all the challenges head on, and emerged as winners.
Arya Gurukul went through a transformation, this was recognised by many and bestowed us with awards for this digital transformation. This did not take place overnight. Our school had started walking on the path of digital transformation much before Covid and now teachers and even students are experts! Arya Gurukul 100% teachers are Microsoft Innovative Educators. Many are certified as Experts in Microsoft Innovative Educators.
Here I would like to mention about One parent, told me, ma’am, the school and you are doing very well, who is your Guru? The parent meant, who brought the idea and envisioned the digital transformation to our school and gave it a new age platform.
I take this platform to introduce, the two Youth Icons who paved the way for adopting latest technology in our teaching and learning techniques and our operations. They are none other than Bhumika Ray Malik and Krishank Malik. Bhumika and Krishank, our young leaders have combined the best of Design thinking and Technical prowess to find solutions that have changed the way we look at learning. They also motivated our teachers to participate in the Knowledge L’avenir Conclave and made an impact by sharing and collaborating with teachers all over the world. Thank You Bhumika and Krishank Keep Motivating us !

हरिओम! नमस्ते
आज के इस अनोखे “वर्चुअल वार्षिक महोत्सव में” मैं आप सभी का तहे दिल से स्वागत करती हूँ। जैसे कि आज का हमारा वार्षिक महोत्सव का मुख्य “पटकथा” है- “ब्रेकडाउन, ब्रेकथ्रू, ब्रेकफ्री”
इसका अर्थ यह हुआ कि मनुष्य को चपलता के साथ आजीवन सीखने की आवश्यकता है और इसी कारण हमारे “आर्य गुरुकुल विद्यालय” में इस वर्ष वार्षिक महोत्सव का यह पटकथा रखा गया।
जीवन वास्तव में एक “रोलर कोस्टर” की सवारी है और यह बहुत आम है कि हम विभिन्न परिस्थितियों में उतार-चढ़ाव का सामना करते हैं। ऐसा कोई वक्त हमारे सामने आ खड़ा होता है जिसमें कुछ तो लोग अपने प्रयासों में सफल होते हैं और कुछ अपने प्रयासों में विफल भी हो जाते हैं। लेकिन सभी दिन एक समान नहीं होते हैं समय अपना अमूल्य रंग दिखाता है और बुरा समय खत्म हो जाता है और अच्छे समय भी आ जाते हैं।ऐसे भी लोग होते हैं जो बहुत बड़े से बड़े संकट और परेशानियों में संभल जाते हैं किंतु कुछ लोग ऐसे भी होते हैं जो छोटी सी छोटी स्थिति को भी चुनौतीपूर्ण मानते हैं अतः यह हमारे ऊपर है कि किसी भी परिस्थिति को हम कैसे संभाले कभी-कभी ऐसा होता है कि हम दूसरों में दोष निकालते हैं और दोष देते हैं किंतु उस दोष को सुधारते नहीं है । इस शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2020 -21 के दौरान मैंने 500 से अधिक ईमेल और संदेश अनुभव किए और व्यक्तिगत रूप से माता पिताओं से मिली प्रत्येक संदेश ईमेल ने घर या परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ में परिस्थितियों को देखने और समाधान खोजने में असमर्थता के साथ आने वाली चुनौतियों को दर्शाया इन सब का सबसे पहला प्रभाव प्रधानाचार्य और शिक्षकों पर पड़ा। आर्य गुरुकुल के सभी सदस्यों ने एक परिवार की तरह इस कठिन दौर में मिलकर मुकाबला करने का फैसला किया । इससे सभी हितधारकों को बसने और सफल होने में मदद मिली। यह स्थिति को संभालने का दूसरा तरीका है और यहाँ मैं इसके बारे में उल्लेख करना चाहूँगी कि भगवान श्री कृष्ण जो इस विचार को भगवद् गीता (गीता २.१४) के अध्याय २ में खूबसूरती से पेश करते हैं। हमारे सामने सबसे बड़ी चुनौती उतार-चढ़ाव इन विपरीत परिस्थितियों को संभालने में हमारी अक्षमता है। इसलिए, यह समय है कि हम सभी, स्वयं को सक्षम करें और विजयी बनें। अब मैं स्वयं कहती हूँ, हाँ प्रिय माता-पिता हमारे बच्चों को स्वतंत्र बनाने का समय आ गया है। मैं चाहती हूँ कि प्रत्येक माता-पिता SELF[स्वयं] की इस अवधारणा को अत्यधिक गंभीरता से लें। हमें अपने बच्चों को SELF AWARENES[स्वयं में जागरूकता, SELF CARE, [स्वयं अपना ध्यान रखें]SELF CONTROL [स्वयं नियंत्रण ]SELF CONCIOUSNESS, [स्वयं चेतना] , SELF ESTEEM [आत्म सम्मान] SELF INTEREST[स्वयं का हित], SELF CONCEPT[आत्मा अवधारणा] SELF MOVTIVATION,[स्वयं को प्रोत्साहन देना] SELF STUDY[स्वयं अध्ययन], SELF DEFENSE[स्वयं की रक्षा] SELF INTENTSPECTION[ आत्म निरीक्षण]और SELF LESSNESS[नि:स्वार्थता] कि ओर अग्रसर करना चाहिए चिन्मय दृष्टि कार्यक्रम के तहत, इस शैक्षणिक वर्ष
2021-22 में आर्य, गुरुकुल सभी ग्रेड के लिए एक स्व-प्रबंधन कार्यक्रम लेकर आ रहे हैं। माता-पिता को, मैं आपसी सहयोग और इसे प्रोत्साहित करने का आग्रह करती हूँ। प्रिय माता-पिता, हमारी दुनिया जो दोहरी प्रकृति की स्वीकृति की खोज को, हमें छात्रों को याद दिलाना चाहिए कि उनमें ताकत और सज्जनता / निर्भयता और करुणा का सह-अस्तित्व होना चाहिए। यह सी.वी.पी के मुख्य मूल्यों में से एक है। हम अपने छात्रों मे उनके डर को चैनलाइज़ करने और अपने भीतर के विकास को विकसित करने की कला सीखने की इच्छा रखते हैं। और जब हम ऐसा करेंगे तो उसी समय, वे अधिक दयालु बन जाएँगे, जो उन्हें अपनी ऊर्जा को चैनलाइज़ करने के लिए एक नया आयाम प्रदान करता है। निर्भयता और करुणा की यह दोहरी स्थिति भगवद् गीता के अध्याय 12 में वर्णित है। इसलिए, ऐसा व्यक्ति न तो दुनिया के बारे में डरता है और न ही दुनिया के लिए डरता है। यह वक्त की जरूरत है। चिन्मय विजन कार्यक्रम के चार स्तंभ – एकीकृत विकास, भारतीय संस्कृति, देशभक्ति और यूनिवर्सल आउटलुक हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि सभी स्तंभ समान रखना जरूरी है अतः शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2020-21 ने हमें सभी स्तंभों को एक साथ रखना सिखाया। इसलिए, मैं इस वार्षिक दिवस को सी.वी.पी के सभी स्तंभों को समर्पित करती हूँ। इस REMOTE स्कूली परिदृश्य में माता-पिता और छात्र शारीरिक शिक्षा कक्षाओं, मूल्य शिक्षा वर्गों, दृश्य कला और प्रदर्शन कला कक्षाओं की उपेक्षा नहीं कर सकते। हमें शिक्षाविदों के साथ-साथ इन सह-शैक्षिक वर्गों को समान महत्व देना चाहिए। हमें इससे उभरने वाली बड़ी तस्वीर को देखना चाहिए। प्यारे माता-पिता, स्कूल फिर से खुलेंगे, चाहे हमारा वातावरण कितना भी कठिन क्यों न हो, क्योंकि शिक्षा भी सुरक्षा का जाल है, हम अपने और अपने बच्चों को ज्ञानी भविष्य से बचाने के लिए बनाते हैं। ध्यान दें, शिक्षा फिर से वही नहीं होगी। आगे बढ़ते हुए हम शिक्षा के और भी सुदृढ़ रूप को देखेंगे और भौतिक और आभासी स्कूल सभी शिक्षार्थियों का पर्याय बन जाएँगे। राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के तहत सरकार NETF (राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा प्रौद्योगिकी मंच) को हमारे सच्चे भविष्य की दिशा में एक सामूहिक कदम के रूप में स्थापित कर रही है।
ग्रेड 6 से 8 के सभी छात्र पहले से ही आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस में सी.बी.एस.ई द्वारा शुरू किए गए कार्यक्रम के लिए पंजीकृत हैं। स्कूल ग्रेड 6 से 8. के लिए 4 नए कौशल आधारित व्यावसायिक विषय भी प्रस्तुत कर रहा है। सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी, वित्तीय साक्षरता, कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता और बहुत ही विशेष विषय डिजाइन। कई और योजनाएँ पाइपलाइन में हैं और इन्हें अंतिम रूप दिए जाने की घोषणा की जाएगी। यह आपको सूचित करना है कि यह पहली बार आभासी वार्षिक दिवस को सफल बनाने के लिए मैं सबसे पहले अपने प्यारे माता-पिता को इसका श्रेय देती हूँ, जिन्होंने चुनौतीयों को आत्म-प्रबंधन करने का निर्णय लिया। 800 प्रिय माताओं, पिताओं और परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों के सपनों का यह सबसे बड़ा दौर रहा है । आज के वार्षिक दिवस में 400 छात्र भाग ले रहे हैं। उनके ऊर्जा को उच्च रखने के लिए, धन्यवाद,। धन्यवाद, मेरे शिक्षकों को जिन्होंने बहुत प्रतिकूल परिस्थितियों में काम किया सभी स्थितियों, सभी चुनौतियों का सामना किए और सभी विद्यार्थी विजेता के रूप में उभरे। आर्य गुरुकुल अब एक नए परिवर्तन के अनुसार चल पड़ा है और इस डिजिटल परिवर्तन के लिए हमें पुरस्कार प्रदान भी हुआ है और रात भर मे ऐसा नहीं हुआ। हमारे स्कूल ने कोविड से पहले डिजिटल परिवर्तन के रास्ते पर चलना शुरू कर दिया था और अब शिक्षक और छात्र भी विशेषज्ञ हैं! आर्य गुरुकुल के 100% शिक्षक Microsoft शिक्षक हैं। कई लोग माइक्रोसॉफ्ट इनोवेटिव एजुकेटर्स के विशेषज्ञ के रूप में प्रमाणित हैं। यहाँ मैं एक माता-पिता के बारे में बताना चाहूँगी कि उन्होंने मुझसे कहा, मैम, स्कूल और आप बहुत अच्छा कर रहे हैं, आपका गुरु कौन है?
माता-पिता का मतलब था, जिन्होंने विचार लाया और स्कूल में डिजिटल परिवर्तन की कल्पना की और इसे हमारा नया युग दिया और इस मंच की तरफ हमें दो युवा जोड़ी लेकर गए जिन्होंने हमारे शिक्षण और सीखने की तकनीकि तथा नवीनता अपनाने का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया। वे और कोई नहीं बल्कि भूमिका मलिक मैम और कृषांक मलिक सर हैं। भूमिका मैम और कृषांक सर , हमारे युवा नेताओं ने डिजाइन सोच और तकनीकी कौशल का बेहतरीन संयोजन किया है जिससे हम सीखने के तरीके को बदल सकते हैं। उन्होंने हमारे शिक्षकों को नॉलेज लवेनियर कॉन्क्लेव में भाग लेने के लिए प्रेरित किया और दुनिया भर के शिक्षकों के साथ साँझा और सहयोग करके एक प्रभाव बनाया। धन्यवाद भूमिका और कृषांक जो हमें लगातार उत्साहित करते रहें! मैं इस अद्भुत टीम के लिए अपने सर्वशक्तिमान को धन्यवाद करना चाहती हूँ कि एक और शानदार एकेडमिक वर्ष के लिए हमें अग्रसर किए। अतः आप सभी आभासी वार्षिक दिवस 21-22 का आनंद लें।
